Microsoft Surface Duo was acclaimed in the technology industry to have great hinges. I was tasked to reverse engineer this component through pictures and videos found online. Images above are screenshots from JerryRigsEverything.

By combining precise caliper measurements, online specifications, and traced reference photos, I successfully remodeled a functional, dampened hinge—emulating a design that originally took Microsoft engineers months to develop.
